Tax Exemptions

PCPrinterDirect is strictly a Business to Consumer (B2C) website and is obligated to charge tax based on state tax laws. Placed orders cannot be credited for the tax amounts.

Cancelation Policy

PCPrinterDirect makes our best attempt to cancel orders after they have been placed, but once an order is placed and processed, your order may not be canceled. For cancelation requests, immediately reply off your order confirmation email and we will try our best to cancel.

If a part is no longer needed at time of shipment, the customer must request creation of a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning the item back to PCPrinterDirect. There are no exceptions and customer will be responsible for lost, missing, damage, or packaging of returned items. Please see Return for Credit policy for additional information and rules.

Return Policies

Unused/Unopened Return for Credit Policy

Unused/unopened product can be returned up to 15 days from the original sale date. Some direct ship items may not be able to be returned. Before returning this product, contact CustomerService@PCPrinterDirect.com for an Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number *Additional exclusions may apply*

  • All returning parts must have a valid RMA number which is supplied by the RMA Department and should be included with your return.
  • Products must be returned in the original sealed packaging. Original product packaging must not be tampered with, written on, or have return labels affixed to item. We recommend placing the item in an overpacked box to reduce shipping damage.
  • Customers are responsible for all freight charges when returning product and will not be reimbursed for original freight on order. Products should be returned using a traceable service (FedEx, UPS, USPS), as tracking numbers may be required to verify receipt. Customer is responsible for missing, damaged, or lost packages and claim must be filed with carrier.
  • Products returned for credit must be returned to PCPrinterDirect within 7 days of receiving the RMA. Any RMA received after the 7-days will be rejected and credit will not be issued. The customer may request the product be returned back to them and will be responsible for shipping costs.
  • A minimum $25 or 25% restock fee depending on which is greater will be assessed for items returned for credit, additional fees may be incurred as per product supplier’s terms and conditions.
  • Parts returned without valid RMA number and/or incorrect parts may be denied credit.
Credit may not be issued for your return if:
  • Product is received with an invalid RMA number or incorrect part.
  • Product is damaged or improperly packaged; PCPrinterDirect is not responsible for damage in transit.
  • Product fails inspection (packaging tampered with/not in resalable condition and/or product is used).
  • Product is received after 7 days from the claim date.
  • Product and/or labels, tags, seals, or barcodes are invalid, removed, or have been altered or tampered with.

Warranty/Damaged/Defective Return for Credit Policy

Any defective, missing, damaged, or mis-shipped parts returned to PCPrinterDirect are subject to our warranty policy. Before returning this product, contact CustomerService@PCPrinterDirect.com for an Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number *Additional exclusions may apply*

  • Products that have arrived to the customer damaged or dead on arrival (DOA) must be reported within 7 days to our team at CustomerService@PCPrinterDirect.com
  • Warranty periods can vary based on our suppliers’ terms and conditions, contact us at CustomerService@PCPrinterDirect.com for product specific warranty periods.
  • General Warranty Periods:
    • Batteries: 60 Days
    • Other Parts: 30 Days
The original order will be credited when the following are satisfied:
  • Reason for return must be validated by our Returns department as a valid warranty reason.
  • All returning products must have a valid RMA number and should be included with your return which is supplied by CustomerService@PCPrinterDirect.com.
  • Products should be returned using a traceable service (FedEx, UPS, USPS), as tracking numbers may be required to verify receipt.
  • Returned products must be received within 7 days upon receiving the RMA/return instructions; failure to do will result in their RMA being closed and part will no longer be eligible to return for credit.
  • Products returned that are deemed a non-valid warranty upon inspection will be subject to a minimum $25 or 25% restock fee depending on which is greater, additional fees may be incurred as per product supplier’s terms and conditions.
Credit may not be issued for your return if:
  • Product labels, tags, stickers or barcodes are invalid, removed or tampered with.
  • Products returned are beyond the warranty period.
  • Product is received after 7 days from the claim date.
  • Products contain damage received in return transit

Damaged Shipment Policy

This policy pertains to product that is received by the customer that is visually damaged or dead on arrival (product does not work on install). Customers who receive product(s) showing visual damage or are dead on arrival should contact CustomerService@PCPrinterDirect.com for an RMA number.

  • All parts must have a valid RMA number
  • PCPrinterDirect is not responsible for product damage incurred in transit.
  • Damaged claims must be made to PCPrinterDirect within 7 days of order receipt.
  • Product must remain in original packaging at the customer’s site for a minimum of 7 days after the claim is made to allow for the shipping carrier’s inspection. Failure to hold product may result in denial of the damage claim. The carrier’s decision is final and binding. All claims are processed in accordance to the carrier. Terms and conditions may change without notice.
  • Upon verification of claim, customer will be contacted by the carrier or PCPrinterDirect to return or dispose of the product.
  • Customers will be contacted by RMA Department if the return is invalid. After contact, PCPrinterDirect will hold the product(s) for 3 business days to allow for any disputes. Once the 3 business days have lapsed, the product(s) will be disposed of and RMA will be closed. There will be no credit or return issued once the RMA is closed.

Claims for Missing/Short Ship Product

  • Product shortage or lost items claims must be made to PCPrinterDirect within 7 days of order receipt.
  • All shipment discrepancies will be verified though shipping details and inventory counts. Please allow up to 3 business days to process claims.
